He requested it b/c he likes to pound the dough likes it’s Play Doh 🙂 Tonight I made Betty Rosbottom’s recipe for Parmesan Potato Soup–delicious & perfect comfort food on a cold, icy night. I LOVE Betty Rosbottom’s column: recipes are accessible & taste incredible! Plus, she’s “hometown”–used to teach cooking class in Columbus Now THAT’S a CHALLENGE!! Forget culinary competitions, try helping a 3rd grader make an array w/ sprinkles, a 6-yr-old with Batman Legos, all while making dinner! (cont’d) Convection oven is opposite of what it should do: bakes slower & doesn’t brown. Cooktop cracked from heat (WTF?) and oven broke! Absolutely DONE w/ my new Maytag range–electric flat cooktop w/ convection oven. Do not EVER buy one–it’s USELESS! Giving blood this morning. Feeling socially responsible as a universal blood donor. Making Hungarian cabbage & noodles for New Year’s Day while watching the Rose Parade. |
