Making rugelach for Happy Hour on Hanukkah, or as our hosts call it: “Cocktails with Candles!” Gave a baking lesson to a friend yesterday. If I empower others to do it themselves, then maybe I won’t have to do it so much myself! Made “Oatmeal-Cinnamon Chip” cookie mix in a jar for the kids’ teacher gifts. Seems appropriate for a pastry chef mom. Baking 8 doz pecan sandies for a Christmas cookie exchange. Wish I could do something more exotic, but tasty will do. Making French Breakfast Puffs for my kids’ breakfast. My mom made them for me when I was a child, now it’s MY turn to treat! http://twitpic.com/qr10 – “I never eat Dec. Snow….it’s not ripe!”. Charlie catching snowflakes…..a delicacy ANY time! http://twitpic.com/q8ez – Chocolate decadence night with the g-friends: Nutella fondue & homemade hot chocolate.
